In direct mail you needed a mailing list and the best one was filled with people who have bought from you in the past. The translation from mail order, direct mail, space ads and other forms of promotion in the pre-Internet age to the Interweb age is pretty obvious. Words that sell in a sales letter and most of the techniques used are just as applicable to Interweb sales pages, email and all forms that use WORDS to promote something, including audio and video. That means they probably deal with pre-Internet marketing and although, some of it may seem dated to you, remember that copy is copy. The ones for sale may be from Amazon or directly from me.
